Indian kid actors in a show |
Parents to note!
As children develop from infants to teens to adults, they go through a series of developmental stages that are important to all aspects of their personhood including physical, intellectual, emotional and social.
The proper role of the parent is to provide encouragement, support and access to activities that enable the child to master key developmental tasks and this is more true if you want your kid to be an actor.
A parent is their child’s first teacher and should remain their best teacher throughout life. Functioning as a coach, the parent exposes a child to age appropriate challenges to encourage development as well as to experiences that allows the child to explore on their own and learn from interacting with their environment.
Before you want your kid to be an actor, try to find out whether your kid has exhibited any signs or traits from his/her early childhood, which has initiated a thought process in your mind that the kid can be a good actor.
One of the ways you can understand your child is by observing them as they sleep, eat, or play.
Look for one or all of these signs of an actor like
What are the early signs of an actor in a kid |
- Since early childhood had been making funny faces and signs
- Could dance
- Was a very expressive baby
- As your child started growing up your kid wrote, directed, and acted in all your school, temple, church or other religious or neighborhood plays
- Even the simplest tasks were performed with great focus and intensity
- May or may not be interested in studies, but use to dream a lot, create and play with imaginary stories and toys himself/herself becoming a character of the story/play
- Sometimes people find it difficult to handle your kid-naughty, restless and too eager to ask questions like -what, then what, where, when, why and so on
- Really know how to play a child star in a party
- Always conscious of how he/she look and dress
- Can mimic well what you observe-people, animals, birds and voices
- Exhibits the signs of being highly sensitive
When your inner voice says that yes, my kid can be a good actor then support and go on encouraging the child till you are alive!
Develop the craft of acting by giving the kid proper professional training, preferably by an acting coach who specializes in tutoring child and teen actors
